Google goes to Korea to promote Google Search Engine

Matt Cutts in South Korea

 

Matt Cutts visits South Korea on 1/30/12 to promote Google Search Engine to South Korean companies, government agencies, attorneys, webmasters and journalists.

The main idea discussed there was to open South Korean website for Google crawlers. Apparently majority of South Korean websites have been prohibiting access for Google robots.

There is a few countries where Google still is not a dominant search engine. Here is a list of  5 of these countries:

  • Russia
  • Japan
  • China
  • Taiwan
  • South Korean
